Shortly after ending his relationship with Elle Macpherson, Costner was back at his old game, and had a fling with the Italian-French model, singer and songwriter, Carla Bruni.
Bruni is recognized as being one of the world’s first supermodels, who had a reputation for dating a number of big figures, including Eric Clapton and Mick Jagger. It seems as though despite Costner’s efforts to finally settle down, he was tempted by the notion of brief flings.
