In November 2018, Kylie signed a distribution deal with the popular beauty retail chain, Ulta, where she began selling her $29 matte lipstick and lip liner kits, as well as her other well-known products including her $42 “Kyshadow” eyeshadow palettes.
This business move was a game-changer – now that customers could walk into one of Ulta’s thousands of stores and purchase an official Kylie Cosmetics piece of merchandise, they were selling faster than ever. In just the first six weeks at the beauty chain, Kylie’s brand sold more than $54 million in products.
