Diana was willing to do almost anything for her kids, no matter what the royals thought. She wanted them to enjoy their childhoods, and if that meant joining in with their fun and games, she was all for it.
We can’t imagine Charles letting William, Harry, and their cousins bury him in the sand, even if they were on vacation. Diana, however, was more than happy to sit there while the kids made her one with the beach. She knew it would bring them joy, so why say no?
