Going against tradition was something that Diana became known for when she was part of the Royal Family. It wasn’t that she hated following the rules, she just believed that sometimes you have to change with the times rather than living in the past.
She felt particularly strongly about this when it came to her children because she wanted to give them the best lives possible. If they were going to grow up to be kind, well-rounded, caring men, certain things had to change in the Royal Family.
