Apparently still quite the charmer, Brendan brought a huge bouquet of peonies for Leslie- commenting that he remembered those were her favorites. Now that both were on stage , his side of the story came out too which was equally adorable.
He admitted to remembering the embarrassing oatmeal situation. Turns out the poor guy really does not like maple, so it’s understandable he was taken a back by Leslie’s maple flavored breakfast oats! That was the only reason the good morning getting ended, it definitely didn’t have anything to do with Leslie.
