As the MTV Awards rolled around, Lindsay was one of the starring guests as her role in Freaky Friday was still earning her a whole heap of praise. In fact, the film was the most commercially successful movie until it was knocked off the top spot in 2015.
This was a massive leap for the actress who was ready to go from playing the childish roles to the more serious and much more mature, parts she longed for. Her style was about to reflect her change of pace.
