Although Lindsay seemed on top of the world, that was all about to change when the teen musical Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen hit the screen. Critics were quick to berate the movie, and many worried it would take a long time for the actress to recover from the blip.
However, Lindsay was determined to prove them all wrong. Instead of sticking to the teen roles of the time, she started to wear much more mature outfits and darkened her hair.
