Blake wanted to help people after tornadoes had left destruction in their path in 2013, so he and NBC worked together to put forth a telethon, called “Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert.”
Several other musicians joined in with him, from Reba McEntire and Usher to Rascal Flatts and OneRepublic. The event raised over $6 million to support the United Way of Oklahoma. This is just one example of his charitable actions over the years.
