Perry’s publicist rep was the one to break the news, and then within minutes, nearly every news outlet was covering the story about how a beloved ’90s star had passed away. There was something in the death announcement, however, that people couldn’t help but notice. There was a list of who was by Perry’s bedside as he passed away, but there was something in the details that stood out.
Obviously, his children, ex-wife, mother, and siblings were there, but also a woman named Wendy Bauer. This wasn’t necessarily the surprising part, though. The part that people noticed was that the announcement called her Perry’s fiance. No one even knew the actor was engaged until reading the news of his passing.
