While the singer might have built a career on living lavishly, Cher wasn’t always made of money. Back in the early days, fame and fortune was something that still seemed like a fantasy. That’s why, when the star was 18, she got married to Sonny and spent nothing more than $10.
Now, this wedding was hardly official – there wasn’t even a minister present – but the pair exchanged vows nonetheless. The rings they used were souvenirs they bought for a few bucks because it was the thought that counted.
