Of course, another question that arises from this story is that on exposure, should creatives ever have to work for free in order to become successful? Today, it seems like resumes and portfolios are becoming more and more important.
This means that people like photographers, models, and artists who need to gain experience but still haven’t landed many jobs may end up accepting non-paid work in order to build their portfolio. Sadly, this is the reality for many aspiring artists although it doesn’t necessarily make it fair.
