No one likes getting rejected, and for some people, it can be a real struggle to pick themselves back up. Some people struggle to date due to the fear of rejection, but most people don’t fear getting shot down by their partner, especially when they’re long term.
Perhaps that’s why the guy on Reddit was struggling to come to terms with his girlfriend’s marriage refusal. The rejection was personal, and he forgot about what she might like when it came to the big question.
