The couple was overwhelmed by the amount of support they got from people all over the world when their story came out. They are also both extremely grateful for the doctors and nurses (including Alex, herself!) for all the support Damien received when in the hospital.
Neither know where they would be now without one another, and they are thankful for the life they lead. They couldn’t thank the hospital enough for getting Damien back on his feet, which has allowed him to fulfill and tick loads of things off his bucket list.
