An article has been published that researches the psychology behind marriages especially into why marriages fall apart. In the article it states that if the couple have a son together they are more likely to remain married.
The report also says the more sons, the better, and chances are increased if the first child is a boy. This is apparently due to the fact that a father will want to raise a son more than they will want to raise a daughter, but the results haven’t been proven.
