From 2008 to 2012, Tomei was dating fellow actor Logan Marshall-Green. Although the pair did not feature in a film together before or during their relationship, in 2017 they would appear in the superhero film Spider-Man: Homecoming together.
The couple were rumored to be engaged, but Tomei stated in 2009 that she didn’t really agree with the concept of marriage. She told Inquisitr that she didn’t see why women had to have children to be seen as complete human beings by many people.
