As if starring in one hugely successful movie franchise wasn’t enough, Tomei has found herself in another. Tomei appeared in the 2018 action horror movie The First Purge.
The now legendary actress played the part of Dr. May Updale, the person responsible for orchestrating the very first purge. Although she often plays the supporting role, Tomei had been cast as the villain of the piece, showing her fans that it’s not just comedy and drama she’s good at.
