You may have heard of Patty Jenkins – the director for DC’s Wonder Woman film – but she actually almost directed Thor: The Dark World as well. It turns out that she wasn’t a big fan of the script, after they had shot down a number of her ideas for the story.
She left Marvel, claimed that she wouldn’t be able to make a good film out of it, and went on to do other things. Sometimes when you know what you want, you know what you don’t want as well.
