It’s interesting that Jenkins gave up the role of directing Thor: The Dark World due to creative differences with Marvel – because the one who replaced her had the same gripes with them.
Alan Taylor, the actual director of the movie, said that he had been given the freedom to do things his way during the shooting, but was upset that they’d later changed so much of it. As a result, he claimed that he never wanted to work on an MCU film again.
