Another addition to the X-Men team is Rogue, a member of the mutant school run by Professor Xavier. She is described as a southern belle who runs away and is adopted by Mystique and grows up as a villain. She has been a prominent character in the X-Men comics since the ’80s and fights alongside the other X-Men in the film X3: The Last Stand. She develops a romantic relationship with Bobby the Iceman, however, due to Rogue’s superpower of sucking energy out of anything she comes in contact with, she and Bobby have a strained relationship.
