Indeed, Zoe has slowly but surely found her niche in the fantasy genre in Hollywood, playing various roles in films that were either sci-fi or supernatural based. She may have got her start in acting on the crime-drama series Law & Order, but it was her role in the James Cameron film Avatar that put her on the map as a name to watch out for in Hollywood. Her other breakout role was as Nyota Uhura in the remade Star Trek films, which include Stark Trek into Darkness, Out of the Furnace and Star Trek Beyond. In 2013, Saldana married Italian artist Marco Perego, and the couple have three children together.
