As we just mentioned, Blanchett has much experience with roles where she is some sort of powerful and magical queen, and the best example of this is in the Peter Jackson film adaptation of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, where she plays Lady Galadriel (although it must be noted that although powerful, she Galadriel is by no means evil). Blanchett has won three golden globe awards as well as two academy awards, so you know she is the real deal.
