Another point that has been raised is that it’s certainly not a crime to want to keep a low profile when you’ve been living in the limelight all your life. However, Meghan and Harry have essentially done the opposite of this.
It would have made sense, if they genuinely craved privacy, to quietly take on fewer Royal responsibilities. This would then remove the media attention after a while, and let them lead a life as many other people do; earning and spending their own money.
