When the pictures after Archie’s christening were released, one featured various close members of the Royal family that were expected; Prince Charles and Camilla, Prince William and Kate, and Meghan Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland. However, the pictures also featured two faces the public had not been used to seeing.
Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale were also included in the official christening photos, and they are the elder sisters of Princess Diana, who is Archie’s late grandmother. This has highlighted how Prince Harry has a special relationship with his maternal aunties, as well as being generally in touch with the Spencer side to his family heritage. People found this a sweet acknowledgment to Prince Harry’s aunties, yet the photographs were still received with backlash.
