While the money may not directly contribute to the Monarchy’s overall wealth in personal terms, it does directly benefit them in everyday life. Meghan and Harry, in many ways, were able to click their fingers and request a $3 million renovation project get moved forward so they can live a more than comfortable lifestyle.
Many critics feel that this system is outdated, and that taxpayer money shouldn’t be used to fund the renovation of Meghan and Harry’s home when that could be sent to schools and hospitals instead.
