Plenty of people feel that Meghan and Harry’s decision to forego the public baby reveal and do things in a more private setting is justified, but they have also faced some backlash for it.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not private citizens – they are funded by taxpayers, and as such, are expected to share their lives with the people of the UK. In addition, many news outlets were miffed when they learned that they would miss out on getting the exclusive Royal baby content first hand.
