While there has been a lot of criticism over the way that Meghan dresses, her outfit choices haven’t all been slammed. Quite often, the Duchess steps out in something very befitting of a Royal spouse, and she always looks fabulous doing so.
What’s more, the times when Meghan goes against Royal protocol aren’t necessarily a sign that she’s trying to break the rules. She’s already proven that times can change and traditions don’t always have to be followed. Why shouldn’t she do her own thing with fashion now and again?

In many ways, Meghan has become a fashion icon. The world pays attention to what she wears, and it doesn’t take long for her clothing choices to sell out. By being a bit more trendy and stylish with her looks, she’s bringing more attention to the Royal Family.
In that respect, she’s very similar to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana. The woman was always known for pushing the boundaries of fashion and wearing what she wanted. The Royals might not have approved much, but the public certainly did.
