Shakespeare fans will know the famous line, “what’s in a name?” from Romeo and Juliet. Royal Family fans know there is quite a lot in a name, especially for a baby born into their bloodline.
According to tradition, only certain names are deemed worthy enough for someone in the British Royal Family. It must not only nod to history and pay respect to relatives, but it must also be modern enough to be considered relevant. It actually seems like a lot of pressure to name a Royal baby.
