We can only hope that the Queen extending an invitation to Doria, but not Kate’s parents, doesn’t cause an even greater rift between the two couples than the one that has reportedly formed.
While Kate and Meghan were said to be especially close at first, different alleged incidents – like Meghan’s reputed bridezilla-like behavior in the runup to her wedding, for example – are said to have driven the two apart. As a sad byproduct, Harry and William are also said to be not nearly as close as they used to be.
