The Queen invited Meghan Markle’s mom to Christmas, but has never invited the Middletons – why?

[post_page_title]Keeping up with tradition[/post_page_title]

Christmas Day for the Royals is used as a chance to head to church. For many decades, the family have all headed St Mary Magdalene’s where they enjoy the religious aspects of the day. However, the Queen also finds plenty of time to be thankful to the rest of the world.

As well as her public speech given every year, the Queen also sends out 1,500 Christmas puddings to every member of staff. It seems as though they are expected to eat a lot as there is another strange royal tradition. For over 100 years, any guest to the royal dinner is required to weigh themselves before and after their meal to ensure they are well fed.
