It’s not just the Royal Family that step onto the scales every year – the Queen apparently asks that anyone eating at the dinner table gets a before and after weight. The tradition has been around since the beginning of the 1900s, and allegedly the same set of scales are still used.
There is plenty to keep this family full as the Royals are greeted with not just a turkey dinner, but an afternoon tea, too. If Doria accepts her invitation, then it looks as though she could be in for her very own weigh-in with the rest of the family. However, Carole and Michael have never been asked to step onto the scales.
