Meghan Markle was born on August 4, 1981, and it seemed as though she was always destined for a life in the limelight. The youngster was raised in Los Angeles, California, and it wasn’t long before Meghan got her first taste at the high life. Although her mom, Doria Ragland, worked as a yoga instructor, her father, Thomas Markle Sr., was a lighting director and director of photography at many major sets in the city.
Meghan was still a child when her father gave her the chance of a lifetime: a trip with him to the set of the sitcom Married… With Children.
