This isn’t advice based on ensuring quality, but ensuring you don’t ruin a barista’s day. A popular trend in recent years has been for people to go to coffee shops and order from ‘secret’ menus. However, a big problem with this is that most places don’t actually have secret menus.
So walking into a coffee shop and ordering a supposedly secret item is only going to cause confusion and hassle for employees. If you want a special drink, work out what the order is – or make it yourself at home.
