[post_page_title]Dry as a bone[/post_page_title]
If you go to a fast-food chain that sells meals in sauce, it’s worth pausing next time to see if you think your food tastes particularly fresh. A lot of the food that gets served in these sauces – be it chicken, beef, etc. – is cooked in large batches.
This is then sometimes left to go dry during the day. However, fast-food establishments occasionally attempt a workaround to this problem through the liberal use of sauce to make the food seem less dry and stale than it actually is.
