[post_page_title]Better off bread[/post_page_title]
We love breadsticks. A lot. To the point that we’ve many a time considered just ordering a meal’s worth of breadsticks rather than bothering with ‘real food.’ However, we’ve slowed our roll – so to speak – on breadsticks considerably since finding out how they’re prepared at many restaurants.
Normally, breadsticks are made with less than fresh bread – which we can forgive a little given their appeal is half based on the crunch. Sadly, the butter that breadsticks are sometimes brushed with might have been left out for hours at a time – which is distinctly unappealing.
