Not fries. We can take learning that anything else is bad, but not fries. Ahh, who are we kidding? If you put a hot portion of fries in front of us, we’d eat them even if you said they’d been made before the new millennium.
That said, it’s not pleasing to know that in some cases, fries are supposedly far from fresh by the time we eat them. Many fast-food chains will apparently cook a batch of fries and keep them sitting out until the very last potato stick is gone.
