This isn’t so much an issue with hygiene – for once – but rather about the ways that fast food restaurants try to apparently trick their customers. The BLT is an immensely popular sandwich, but if you’ve ever looked inside one from a fast food chain you might have noticed that there’s a lot less there than you’d expect.
This is because fast food establishments will sometimes include as small an amount as possible of any pricey ingredients – such as bacon – leaving you with a sandwich that’s basically just lettuce and tomato. At this point, we’re not even a little surprised.
