Let’s return to sweet tea for a second. Sweet tea has that name for a reason and it’s to be expected that it has a fair amount of sugar in it, right? However, because fast-food restaurants apparently don’t always brew tea properly, some have been accused of adding as much sweetener as they can to cover the taste.
As such, fast food sweet tea might have several times the amount of sugar or sweeteners you would find in a properly-brewed cup. So enjoy the sugar rush, and remember to brush your teeth when you come down.
