Over the last few years, fast-food restaurants have started to cater to the needs of vegetarians a little more – which is certainly a good thing. Unfortunately, it’s not necessarily the case that many restaurants are dedicated to making these options really be fresh and 100 percent veggie.
If some fast food workers are to be believed, most veggie burgers at fast-food restaurants are slabs of vegetables kept frozen until it’s time to half-heartedly thaw them out. What’s more, a lot of them are reportedly cooked with the same utensils as the meat products.
