Ever since becoming a father for the first time, Ashton has been incredibly vocal about men playing larger roles in raising their own children, and challenging society’s norms on the “acceptable” roles of mothers and fathers.
For one thing, he firmly advocated having changing tables in men’s restrooms as a way of starting to upend that order. He saw it as a tiny first step in rectifying what he called “legacy gender discrimination.” Addressing all fathers the world over, Kutcher simply said, “It’s time to get our hands dirty.”
