A little while after Connie had commented on Kat’s post, her comment received a reply from someone who claimed to also have seen one of these ornaments – and they had a suggestion as to where the ash might have come from.
According to this person, their aunt had once possessed a heart just like the one Priscilla had, but rather than a memorial urn, the ash inside had come from Mt. St. Helens instead. This was an intriguing new piece of information, and excited Priscilla considerably.
