Hearing from that mom in Utah reminded Hassell why she stood her ground with Presleigh in the first place. She realized that her daughter’s trashed pencil box was better suited to this less fortunate family, so she sent it to them.
That wasn’t all though. Haley looked up a school supply list for Ogden and bought a few things that the children would need. She put these all together in a care package and had them delivered to Utah. She figured it was the least she could do for the family that was down on their luck.
