Whether or not this moment will really shape Presleigh’s life is yet to be seen. It could be years before Haley’s actions start to have an effect on her daughter. However, with any luck, they’ll prompt the girl to think before she acts in the future.
Even if she doesn’t use what her mom taught her to make a significant difference in the world, that’s okay. As long as the girl learns from the experience and acts more grateful, that’s all that really matters. Hassell isn’t asking for any more from her than that.
