Given that Haley is a single mom, she certainly doesn’t need the added pressure of her daughter going off the rails. She faces enough struggles as it is trying to raise a child alone without having Presleigh turn against her.
Thankfully, the pair have always made a great team, even when Hassell has been under immense stress. While her daughter obviously has a lot of needs, the child never usually demands too much from her mom. Apart from this one instance, she’s typically grateful for the things that Haley gives her.
