One of the things we find the strangest about belligerent customers is the degree to which they seem to make stuff up. Customers constantly make up fictitious rules when challenged, that just so happen to mean that they’re right.
One employee asked a customer if they could check her bag, at which point she suddenly started insisting that they had to be Disney certified to do so. This gambit didn’t work very well for her, and it was soon discovered that she was sneaking a whole picnic into the theater.
