Throughout the entire film, we find ourselves living in this horrifying existence of a child who has a father who seems to be some kind of religious extremist bent on murder.
But as the film nears the end, we learn that it’s actually flipped – the child is actually some kind of demon, and the father is really an angel who’s actually the savior. That’s more or less the gist of what happens, and let’s just say that viewers weren’t too happy with this twist.
