The trailer of this movie capitalized on the fact that horror movies are that much scarier when little girls are involved. The movie itself pretty much delivered on that end, and it revolved around Esther, a newly adopted orphan who gets taken in by a nice family – before nasty things start happening around her.
The weird and uncomfortable twist we learn is that she isn’t actually a little girl, rather a much older woman with a disorder that makes her incapable of physical growth.
