John Travolta portrays the role of an investigator trying to learn the truth about the murder of a drill instructor. He researches the same event through multiple different versions, and the premise seems pretty interesting for a while.
However, at some point the premise loses its vigor, especially when we learn that the “good soldier” who we’re supposed to trust is actually the villain. Oh yeah, and Sam Jackson was actually alive all along as well.
