Have you ever sent a text to somebody who was in your house at the time? Don’t worry – everybody has at some point. Why go up and down the stairs when you can send the same message without moving a muscle? People had the same idea before cell phones were a thing. Instead, they installed tubes that travelled from room to room. You could talk into one end of the tube and the person in the other room could hear loud and clear! Work smarter, not harder, right?
