[post_page_title]Milk door[/post_page_title]
A visit from the milkman used to be one of the most exciting days of the week! Around the 50s and 60s, it was very common for delivery people to bring glass bottles of milk to a family’s door. Many homes are equipped with these double-sided doors for a smooth hand-off of the essential dairy product. The milkman would open the outer door and leave the milk inside, and the family could open their end to retrieve the delivery at their leisure.
