The crew of the Independence had been tracked by the Myanmar Navy, and it wasn’t long before they were the ones being hauled somewhere.
Just 50 miles from Myanmar’s coast the Navy found the Independence seemingly heading toward Bangladesh regardless of the fact they were no longer hauling the massive ships behind them. If they were suspected to be responsible for leaving the Sam Ratulangi in the middle of Myanmar’s coastal waters, then they had to be called in for questioning.
